Reabold Tennis Club

Reabold Tennis Club Entrance Reabold Tennis Club (RTC) was established in 1956 and has a rich history with some of the states leading tennis identities playing an active role in the clubs development. The following progressive changes were implemented to streamline the clubs administration and provide members with the choice of grass and latest acrylic court surfaces to ensure members of all ages are well catered for and the club remains vibrant and financially secure.
  • the appointment of a full time club manager
  • reducing the  large committee to a small functional board, and
  • Resurfacing 8 courts to “plexicushion” the surface used at the Australian Open.
These initiatives have lead to RTC being awarded Regional Tennis Centre status by Tennis Australia. RTC is one of only 5 in the metropolitan area. The cornerstone objectives of a Regional Tennis Centre are to have more active players, more devoted fans, more highly ranked players and more money to grow more fans, more players and more champions.
